LIFE AND LOVE

When my exhausted moments do come,
And the earth becomes my anger,
I want to move in arms’ sails and in moonlight,
There grow sweet thoughts lain in brain,
I dream of her in my special room,
A flower bed in music of my dream,
A kiss for love that gives me relief,
And till morning I love to stay in spirited voice,
That cools me in her soft bosom,
That knows what tired sleep does want to feel,
Over my lain head, in murmurs,
And I move on pink surface and in white clouds
Those hover over silent unity of life and love,
As if a piano music moves with great love-order.

  1. Hi Asim, your poetry brings back good memories of the 60s, and 70s. I remeber sittin at a table in a coffee house, listening to such poetry. Someone would strum on a guitar, while the poet read his/her art of work. Very nice
