GODDESS DURGA

Her coolness, after the art of killing demons,

is apt to sign the judge the world.

This feeling moves age after age,

picturing all wellness in Her looks

that prevails,

The world is Her region of conquers,

She looks at the glacier of life,

and cell formation,

At presence of Her Husband, Lord Shiva,

in thinking of life

and in removing darkness all over.

We are preparing to worship Her

in this October and attire Her

with respect and submission.

DEVOTEES OF GODDESS DURGA

The grandson lonely

Moves for what can be

His terms of protection

On the pandal of Goddess Durga

Who mounts on Her pet lion,

In Her legendary win in the war

With Asura Mahishasura,

Along with four children, on Her altar,

And we worship Her for peaceful living

With Her gracious presence

With Her blessing upon us,

She stands for all blessings,

Upon us with our dreams

And Her wining zeal,

With movement of judgment and colors,

With glory and promises,

With glittering light of mind,

From the baby to the old devotee,

Obedient to acquire consciousness,

For defending honest sacrifice,

In the searching of love and peace,

In the battle of good and evil,

On the long way of perfectness

Of becoming well being,

For living with peace and happiness.

Blissful eyes,

Her valiant looks on war field,

With more motherly flair.
