HAIKU chain – A Journey to Kanyakumari

HAIKU

Spring morning
Travelling in a train,
Unbound knowing.

HAIKU 2

Sunrise above rooftops,
Distant night lamp not put out,
Delight in sun rays.

HAIKU 3

Vast green field
Our train passing through,
Visible dream.

HAIKU 4

Three boats at far,
So tiny they may be sight out,
Freedom of floating.

HAIKU 5

A terrain town
Curved road to climb a hill top,
Peak of perspective.

HAIKU 6

Walking along dryness,
Dusty road blunts epigram,
Fading greens.

HAIKU 7

A flyover bridge
Beautifully crafted across fields
Around, in our going,

HAIKU 8

Outline of a town,
It bears brick built culture,
Amazing virtue.

HAIKU 9

Planned forest,
Alongside hedges it bears
Thrills of the nature.

HAIKU 10

Spring dusk,
Dithering with setting sun,
Mind left to perch.

HAIKU 11

Railway yard at night
Passengers not in running time,
Slumber train.

HAIKU 12

Train approaches to a
Station, destiny comes,
Repose withheld short.

HAIKU 13

Station at night,
Fewer passengers,
Stillness of lights.

HAIKU 14

Another spring morning,
Rising sun intoned with
Red, count continues.

HAIKU 15

Wind propeller blades,
Generate electricity,
By wind thrust.

.
HAIKU 16

Hillside wind farm,
All its power backs up lights,
Life gets its accent.

HAIKU 17

Devi Kanyakumari temple,
With benignity, she is SAKTI,
Sounds of eternity.

HAIKU 18

Vast Ocean,
Sea view of Kanyakumari town,
Edge on spring sun bath.

TANKA

Two monuments -
Swami Vivekananda memorial rock,
Other one -
Sculpture of Tamil poet and
Philosopher, Thiruvalluvar.

HAIKU 19

Sunset at sea,
Burning warmth sinking,
For another daybreak.

HAIKU 20

Another sun rise,
You better hope rising a
Golden day in clouds.
